Caspar is trying to find a treasure. He will explain more in the next few chapters what he is looking for. It will end up being a twist that most people never see coming.

Will Caspar ever be nice to Torren and is there a reason why he is so mean to him?
I think Caspar just fes Torren as a little boy. He doesn’t understand that Torren idolizes him. This is the case with a lot of siblings. There comes a point in life, when the older sibling is no longer cool enough to hang out with the younger sibling, so they just treat them mean.

How they said Caspar had glasses how did he get them?
hmmm…I will look back through the book to find that particular position. It isn’t coming to mind right now, but he probably found them while roaming or traded with someone to get the glasses.
